First of all we must know that the word "Saint" comes from the Latin word Sanctus, and it means "Holy". In Luke 1:35 it says;

35The angel replied to Mary, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be bornd will be called the Son of God.
That is why Mary is called "Saint or Holy", because the power of the most high and holy spirit is in her.
Why Is Mary A Saint?
